Founding Meeting, Sava river boat, Belgrade, Serbia
Tuesday, 29 June 2004
Hosted by HCS members Mary Black and Ozren Tosic

Inaugural meeting on a floating river house in Belgrade.

The Harvard Club of Serbia and Montenegro is probably the only inaugural event of any Harvard body to be held afloat. This club got off to a promising start and was hosted by Mary E Black MPH 90 and Ozren Tosic MPH 96 on their "splav" or floating river house which is made entirely of recycled materials. A toast to " Veritas" mingled with the sound of boat building and river traffic, and the club quickly adopted a constitution and elected office bearers. You can see our busy and smiling inaugural club members on the photos on this page.
